The Inns of Aurora Wedding Sanctuary
Our newly-renovated Gratitude space is an important part of the wedding experience at the Inns of Aurora. Like all of our signature properties, this elegant wedding sanctuary is steeped in history and restored to luxury. It’s a place for nearlyweds to gather with their attendants and prepare for their wedding: light-filled, comfortable, and welcoming for wedding parties of up to 14 guests.
Gratitude features contemporary hair and makeup stations, a butler’s pantry, and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Snacks and beverages can be catered directly to the celebrants by our culinary team. Conveniently located next to the Aurora Inn and outfitted with blinds for privacy, Gratitude is a well-appointed space to gather and ensure brides (or grooms!) look and feel their best while walking down the aisle.
The building that houses Gratitude is one of our treasured historic properties. Originally built in the 1920s, the cozy shop in the center of the village has had many lives over the years. Recently, it was home to a wonderful gift shop, which is where the name “Gratitude” comes from: the proprietor, Julie Umbauch, was well-known for her delightful hand-made gift boxes, called “Gratitude Boxes.” We hope to carry this spirit of fun and thoughtfulness into the space’s new life, and offer it to our nearlyweds as part of their magical Inns of Aurora wedding experience.
