Join hosts Natasha Keller and Laura Coburn for an inspiring weekend of communing with your creative spirit. We’ll share meals, meditation, and the art of sewing in the quiet and luxurious comfort of Rowland House. With sewing machines humming and fireplaces crackling, this retreat will leave you feeling revitalized and inspired.
Once your participation is confirmed, you will receive a supply and pattern shopping list with helpful links. Throughout this retreat, you will create a casual garment, a waxed canvas tote with leather handles, and a natural fiber basket to take home.

Natasha Keller is a designer and artist living in the Finger Lakes. Over the past twelve years she has designed and produced her own line of women’s clothing, handbags, wallets and home accessories. She has designed and produced an in-house line of women’s vintage-inspired dresses in collaboration with a local boutique, as well as making her own couture dresses—beautiful formal dresses and bridal gowns. She has worked as a professional silk-screener, surface designer, model, writer and art curator. She brings a dramatic, elegant, and eclectic aesthetic to all of her work.
Today, Natasha seeks to empower people to sew their own clothes so that everyone can have the experience of feeling stylish, comfortable and confident in their clothes, no matter their shape or size.

As the Director of Serenity at the Inns of Aurora, Laura is dedicated to providing restorative and rejuvenating experiences through Ayurvedic consultations, yoga classes, and Serenity Sessions.
Laura is an Infinite Light yoga teacher in the Kripalu lineage and is a certified yoga teacher and teacher trainer with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT). A certified a Relax and Renew® teacher, Laura has studied with Judith Hanson Lasater and has assisted Judith with restorative yoga teacher training internationally.
In addition to extensive study with Kathryn Templeton, Laura is a member of National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the Himalayan Institute, where she earned her Ayurveda Health Counselor certification.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine for comfort and familiarity of use. Machines will be provided should the participant prefer. Please specify preference when registering.
