Outdoor Survival Skills

Join Outdoorsman Matt Stevenson and learn some of the basics of outdoor survival. Throughout this workshop, your guide will share tips for building a fire, finding water, creating shelter, orientating yourself, and caring for minor wounds. Walk away with the information you need for creating an emergency kit for daytime excursions and short distance treks.

This private experience may last up to two hours and is $150 for up to two people. Each additional person is $50. Some experiences are limited to six people. Please specify the number in your group when you submit your request. We require a minimum of seven days advance notice to arrange this activity.

Guests over 10 years old may participate in this activity. Guests under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.

The location for this workshop may vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Terrain may occasionally be muddy or rough. We recommend sturdy outdoor shoes and long pants or high socks. Please plan to pack water, sunscreen, and your favorite critter repellent.
