Olivia Shea
YOGA TEACHER
Olivia's yoga journey evolved from her experience as a competitive athlete. From sports in high school to soccer and track and field at a collegiate level, her athletic career was full of accomplishment—but plagued with ankle and foot injuries. She spent her college athletic career with taped feet and constant post-game rehab. Then she discovered the restorative benefits of yoga. Eventually, she became a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT) and earned her RYT-200 hours from Rahini School of Yoga and Meditation in Huntington, NY.
Olivia’s classes connect with the athlete in all of us by focusing on the lengthening of tired and tight muscles. She shares poses that strengthen balance, flexibility, power, mental focus, and stamina. Through this style of yoga, students can enjoy improved performance, injury reduction and faster recovery from endurance training, or simply the day-to-day effects that life has on the body.
