What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Due to the intimate nature of the Inns of Aurora, early check-ins and late check-outs cannot be accommodated and will not be permitted. We are pleased to offer luggage storage for guests enjoying the area outside of designated check-in and check-out times.
What are your deposit and cancellation policies?
A deposit equal to one-night’s stay (plus taxes) is required at the time the reservation is made. Should we be unable to accommodate your requested room type, we will be in touch before your arrival. For reservations with arrivals between November 1 and May 15, cancellations made within seven (7) days of the arrival date will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the stay. For reservations with arrivals between May 16 and October 31, cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the stay.
Do you accept gratuities?
Gratuity recognition is welcome for exceptional service from any of our staff members or service teams.
Do you allow smoking?
The Inns of Aurora are non-smoking properties, although each of our inns does have a designated outdoor smoking area. Any violation will result in an automatic $250 fine charged to the credit card on file.
What is your policy on damages?
In the event of excessive damage or cleaning needs, an additional fee will be automatically charged to your card on file upon check-out. Assessment of this fee is at the discretion of the Inns of Aurora.
Do you allow pets?
While we do not allow guests staying on property to bring pets, we do permit registered service animals.
Can I add an extra bed to my room?
If you would like more than one bed in your room, we encourage you to reserve one of the following guestrooms that feature more than one bed: E.B. Morgan House Room Three, Rowland House Room One, or Zabriskie House Room One. We can only accommodate air mattresses in select guestrooms with a private residence rental for children under the age of 12.
Do you allow children?
Our resort is best enjoyed in the company of other adults: we do not accommodate children under the age of 12 with the exception of whole-property, private residence rentals. Children are always welcome at the Fargo Bar & Grill and 1833 Kitchen & Bar.
Can I use the grounds of other inns during my stay?
To ensure the intimate experience that each of our distinctive inns provides, guests have exclusive use of the common areas, grounds, and amenities that are part of the inn at which they are staying.
Do you take group reservations?
Absolutely! Please review our private residence rentals and be in touch with our sales team. We consider a group to be seven or more reservations booked under the same name and/or credit card information. Please note that standard cancellation policies may not apply to group reservations.
What is your resort fee, and what does it cover?Our resort fee is $37 tax-inclusive per room per night. This nightly fee covers a wide array of resort amenities—including evening wine and cheese hour, morning coffee with homemade granola bars, and s’mores kits—and many of the offerings on our robust activities calendar.
