The Inns of Aurora are idyllic spots for weddings, located, as they are, on the shores of Cayuga Lake. The Aurora Inn’s grounds provide an elegant setting, and our soaring white tents help ensure that you and your guests will enjoy our lakeside location regardless of the weather. In the evening, our fire pit on the shore is a convivial gathering spot. For smaller weddings, the E.B. Morgan House offers an unparalleled atmosphere—and a shoreline of its own. For the most intimate weddings or commitment ceremonies, or for the perfect elopement, Leffingwell House offers beauty and privacy in ample measure.

AURORA INN

The Aurora Inn’s elegant Lakeside Room can accommodate 96 guests for a plated dinner and up to 125 for a cocktail reception. During warmer months, French doors open onto an expansive stone terrace overlooking the lake, an idyllic spot for cocktails and dancing. The Aurora Inn also offers lakeside wedding receptions under pristine white tents for up to 220 guests. With soaring ceilings, shimmering white lights and large wooden dance floor, the tent creates a magical environment day or night.

E.B. MORGAN HOUSE

For smaller weddings, the E.B. Morgan Houseis an exquisite option. Envision welcoming guests into your own private lakeside mansion: your closest family and friends gather on the lawn as you sweep down the staircase in your wedding gown.

The E.B. Morgan House can accommodate up to 14 guests for an exquisite five-course dinner served on sparkling Mackenzie-Childs china. For groups of up to 48, our chefs can create a Gatsby-esque cocktail party sure to delight.

LEFFINGWELL HOUSE

If your ideal wedding is a private affair—without the tent and band—then Leffingwell House is for you. Whether you choose to be married in the charming historic church across the street or in the meadow high on the wooded knoll behind the house with its breathtaking lave view, this stunning home is the perfect place to enjoy a private elopement or an intimate wedding. We are happy to organize a sit down dinner or cocktail party to celebrate after the ceremony, or to leave you in private with an officiant and a bottle of champagne.

WINTER WEDDINGS

We revel in the special beauty of winter weddings. The Aurora Inn’s Lakeside Room offers you and up to 64 guests breathtaking views of a glorious winter sunset over the lake. While both properties have fireplaces, the dramatic atmosphere of the E.B. Morgan House is welcoming and enveloping in winter. And Leffingwell House’s three fireplaces make the most of winter’s charm. If you dream of a sparkling winter wedding, the Inns of Aurora are a perfect match.
