Spring & Summer Cooking

Tuesday, May 8, 2012 6-8:30p.m. | $115/person

This course teaches you to prepare meals as quick and delicious as summer itself. We’ll focus on the best of summer fare: scrumptious foods that are light and fast—and often prepared ahead—for less time in a hot kitchen. We will cover grilling, marinades, dressings, salads, and cooking with leftovers in mind. We’ll also chart the progression of summer produce, to help you choose and use the freshest ingredients throughout the summer. Dinner at 8:30, 8 person maximum

Chillin’ & Grillin’

Friday, June 22, 2012 6-8:30p.m. | $75/person

Learn the art of the summer barbecue from Chef Rupert Robbins of Skillet & Embers Catering Co. You’ll bring home serious grill skills from this class, which will be held at the Wells College boathouse. From pulled pork and ribs to potatoes, corn, and fish, enjoy the best lakeside barbecue ever—and eat family style as the sun sets over beautiful Cayuga Lake. Dinner at 8:30, 20 person maximum
