Spa Service: Massage and Body Work

Through our partnership with Ithaca’s Rasa Spa, you can indulge in a 60- or 90-minute massage in the comfort and privacy of your room. In addition to Swedish massage, most of Rasa Spa’s therapists can work in a range of modalities, including deep tissue, energy work, oncology, sports and prenatal massage.

Many of our rooms can also accommodate couples massages. Subject to therapist availability, Rasa is happy to accommodate those guests wishing to share a relaxing experience with a friend or partner, provided there is ample space in the room. If couples’ massages are not available, you may still schedule two massages back-to-back.

Rates for individual massages are $108/$150, plus tax and gratuity, added to your room charge for 60-/90-minute massage. For couples’ massages, rates are simply doubled. Please book at least 48 hours in advance. You may make a reservation by calling our front desk at 315-364-8888.

SPA SERVICE: FACE, HAIR, HANDS, AND FEET

Three doors south of the Aurora Inn is Meeshé Salon & Spa, which offers a range of beauty services. All Inns of Aurora guests receive 10% off services from Meeshé, including hair care, waxing, facials, manicures, pedicures, and makeup application. A full list of services is available online.

Meeshé also offers bridal packages combining facials, updos, manicures, pedicures, and/or makeup applications featuring Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics.

Boating on Cayuga Lake

(Private rides for up to six available May 10 through Columbus Day weekend. Scheduled rides and charters of up to 15 available from June 1 through Columbus Day weekend.)

Water is good for you—be sure you get enough of it!

Skip Stamberger, proprietor of Water to Wine Tours, offers scheduled and chartered boat rides departing from the Aurora Inn dock. On Tuesday nights, enjoy two-hour “Happy 2 Hour” complete with a picnic basket packed in the Aurora Inn kitchen. On Sundays, embark on two-hour cruise with optional winery tasting for the best of Finger Lakes water and wine. Please note there is limited availability; reservations are highly recommended.

Scheduled cruises begin at $35 per adult and $25 per child aged 12 and under, with an additional charge for food. Chartered boat rides are available for up to 15 people, beginning at $300 for two hours on the water.
